hehee...my turn to give feedback hor? have so much to write! Gosh!

been with my dear dear for 6 weeks? hm...wat shld i say lei...i say liao, i scare u all jealous, how? hehee..

1. A man who is willing to try anything
It is not in my wishlist that i need a man who dance, but if he is willing to share the same passion as me, isnt it perfect? I m not talking about just salsa... He went for jazz class, contemporary class as well. We are gg to explore yoga too!


2. A man who is willing to go shopping with me, with no complaints.
I was reading thru xiaxue blog and she is saying things like, Mike doesnt like shopping, and she is whining as to why men dun like to shop, blar blar, blar..

Gals, u knoe how much i shop. heehehe..*almost like crazy* and my dear says he loves to shop too! *YAY* hehehee


3. A man who spends time with me
Both of us are very busy with work, yet we spend alot of time together. Even if he has to do a conf call at nite, we will go for some light dinner and he will do his call at my place, or if he has a evening conf call, he will come and meet me after tat. We can jus spend the whole toking about anyting, and thru these, we understand alot abt each other, how we feel, how we see certain things..whr are we coming from...


4. A man who is able to appreciate me, and wouldnt mind my weaknesses
Everyone have their weaknesses. I have mine too. I love to pack TOO many activities at one goal, which i know i am not able to accomplish all of them. Initially, i tink dear dear very kan cheong, she wan to do so many things huh? then he keep looking at his watch...enuf time meh? jialat man. hehehee...but i guess this man is slowly starting to understand me... i try to do many things, but I may not be able to do it all, but at least i try..and some of them are actuali not impt ones, got time can do lah, no time, then another day loh. hehehe

from the fact tat i love to pack many things together, i hv the tendency to be late loh... but my dear dear is always waiting for me patiently. hehehe...no complaints at all :)


5. A man who can cook lei, heehee...

6. A man who is happie to help out in cleaning
Dun assume its normal for all guys hor...some guys jus sit there like a log...u knoe lah huh? hehehhee...


Of cos, most most importantly, he loves me, he dotes me, and he cares and concerned about me

We're back in Singapore... Somehow, holidays are never long enough... and how true to say that time flies when you're having fun!!

Jan 20 - One month of bliss...

It's our first month together! The night before we are talking about feedback and comments, and I was telling Meow Meow that the "30-day Money Back Guarantee" is over. Hahaa...

This morning, I woke up to see Meow Meow posting the survey form online!! Wow... No trick questions there right dear?? Hehehe...

One month pass so fast... So I guess it's right when people says that time flies when you are having fun. :)

Somehow I got this feeling we are together for more than 1 month... We got to know each other as coursemates 2.5yrs ago (though we didn't really talk... ok ok... Kobi is shy ok... ), so Meow Meow is not a totally new person to me. Hehehe...

We started msn-ing and sms-ing each other about 3 months (that's a quarter of a year!!) before we got together... Well, no one really knew about that... Hehehe... Cannot be announcing to the whole world at that time right?? We do have a big group of common friends (MBA folks, you know who you are...), and if things don't work out, it will be rather awkward... *sheepish grin*

So looking back at our one month together... I feel really really loved and doted upon by Meow Meow. It may sound mushy mushy, but I must really say when you love and feel loved, the feeling is 10 times more intense. I hope Meow Meow feels the same way. Dear, are you gonna fill in the feedback form and send it in to my management team too??

We spend a lot of time together, but it's not the duration but the quality of it. We talked a lot... We share about our life experiences, we share about our career expectations, we share about our interests, many more... We talk about everything under the sky and we discuss about how we look at them and our opinions...

I know what I am looking for in a partner, and I found them in Meow Meow. There's still many many more things to discover about each other, and I guess this just makes the journey forward more interesting.

Ultimately, what makes a relationship strong and stable is the foundation built upon trust and respect. It's not gonna be easy... and frankly, it's quite a huge task!! Hehee... But I am sure and confident both Meow Meow and myself know this and we will work together towards the many more months (perhaps years) we will share.

Visit Hay Diaries become visit Dragonfruit Farm (Jan 13)

This started as a day to visit the farms... We set off around 3.30pm... Should be fine right, by the time reach LCK area should be not so hot...

So drive drive drive we went to LCK... past the cemetaries... past the super "runway" and circling into the ulu ulu farm areas...

Turn left... Opps... Wrong turn... Turn right... Opps... Another wrong turn...

Damn! Where's Hays Diary?? (a.k.a our first stop)

When we finally find the place, it's 4.30pm... Phew... But... But... Guess what, the farm closes at 4pm!! Alamak... You mean the goats got knock off one meh

Brr... So... No goats to visit... :(

We drove off... But heh... Just 20m down the road, we saw this Dragonfruit Farm... Hmm... Singapore grow dragonfruits?? The curiosity in us says... Turn in take a look lor... Hehehe...

So the pic posted... It's taken at the farm... The pink-color can is Dragonfruit drink, with pulp and the seeds. Very nice actually... And the yellow-color one.... Hmm... I forgot what it is, but it taste quite nice... Made in Singapore some more...

Moral of the Story - Hays Diary closes at 4pm!!

And not to forget, we actually feed some fishes... Hehehe....

when the dates get closer, we decided since both of us love travelling, we shld go somewhere to celebrate our bdaes! but...go where lei...?

Options : drive to msia? thai? vietnam?

then an option comes to our mind...we nvr been to macau! shall we? *grin*

then come the checking of what is there to do in macau....they got good food, good portuguese wine, casino, and we can even take a ferry to hk! *WOW*

We even check out the airtickets and we are set to go!!!

then meow meow boss comes the next day and say "I wan u to join me in macau for a meeting in march"
*meow meow mind went blank..."

After the discussion, msn my darling....can go macau in march instead?....and so macau is postponed to march :)

So where now? Where shld we go? we were both casually browsing thru the web to see where we can go, and we jus tot of...philipines??? a place where both of us hv nvr been there...

Kobi - My first x'mas gift from Meow Meow

This is my first x'mas gift from Meow Meow... It's a Polar RS200sd!! Hehehe.. I had wanted to get a Polar ever since I started running more 'professionally'... But... But... It's expensive lor... Too high end...

So I bought a Timex HRM instead, lasted me slightly 2 years before it went kapok... =( Casually told Meow Meow I want to get a new running watch... [She told me she thought it's some funny gadget].

I never really intend to 'drop hint' at what I want for x'mas... Hehe... In fact, I wanted to go shop for one. So you can guess how surprised and touched I am when I open the 'mystery box'... *bliss*

I am touched not because I finally got what I wanted (since 2 years ago), but it's the fact that Meow Meow doesn't know what a HRM is and she went all round Singapore to find one.

The surprise came when I did not mention what brand or model I am looking at, and Meow Meow so very coincidentally got me what I wanted. Hehee... Do you call this fate??

What we enjoy together... Wine

We enjoy our wine... Well, Kobi prefer something smoother while Meow Meow likes her full-bodied. But it's nice to start off with Cabernet Merlot and end it off with Cabernet Sauvignon. So far, we have yet to appreciate Shiraz... Hehehe...

They say wine is healthy for the heart. One glass a day, keeps the doctor away... Not too sure if that's true, but to date, I know my heart is healthy... Hehehe... Maybe it's due more to Meow Meow than the wine?? =)

Thinking of going Down South to do a wineyards tour. Hehehe... That would be so cool... Til then, stay tuned... :p

how we got started...part 2

oh yaloh...tat man in class for 2 years, nvr take initative to come tok to me...cmi cmi..

then suddenly one nite so free come and tok to me....tink cos fri nite, everyone not in msn...left only meow meow...bopian loh hor? :P

then tok tok tok....tok tok tok...then realise so many things to tok...can tok, can joke somemore....so different from the DA-Vid i know in school...

but hor...still someone very shy...dun reali dare to ask me out...tok tok tok and tok...we still jus chatting on msn...*pengz*

we finally get to knoe each other better in phuket...went joggin in the morning...play board games...swimming...we drove around quite abit as we rented a car ;)

in this trip, we find each other...easy going, very easy to get along...we enjoy the same interests...exploring new things....eating every corner we travel....be it on the streets...local hawker, cafe, restaurants...where there is yummy food, there will be kobi and meow meow...but also then we probably have to have bottles of carbon pills with us *keke*

after the trip, we meet up more often...more gatherings, more activities...lunches, gym, badminton, board games, dine and wine...

HERE COMES THE CLIMAX *drum roll...*

Kobi and Meow meow got together on 20 December 2007 during a class gathering...hmm....Why tat nite huh? Duno lei....maybe tat nite, kobi then dare to come closer to meow meow and hug meow meow? maybe tat nite, meow meow feel cold? hehehhe...maybe fengshui says tats a good date? hehehhee...

got to admit tat nite, both of us were so quite paiseh and our classmates were so shocked. *keke* (Mates, dun be shocked anymore, and be happie for us, ya? :P)

although its December 2007, to me, 2007 just started on 20 December 2007...

Meow Meow looks very sweet and cute right? Hehehe... This pic was taken some time in Dec-07. There's a version of me, but I guess I'm nowhere as sweet and cute, so let's keep that pic offline.
Coming back to the topic. How do I see Meow Meow?

Meow Meow is a very friendly, highly-energetic and sociable girl. She's out-going and confident. She dresses and carries herself well. In our MBA class, I can't help but to notice her. Hahaa...

But frankly, it's not the outward/physical presentation of her that attracts me. It's who Meow Meow really is as I get to know her better.

Meow Meow's a very dynamic person, very focused and very determined person. She knows what she wants in life. While she aims high, Meow Meow's a very practical and down-to-earth person.

Meow Meow loves to dance and Meow Meow knows how to appreciate her wine. She likes travelling and I can see the little adventurer in her.

On a more personal level, Meow Meow values her friends. From what I see, she values her friends not just by words but by showing true concern about them. For friends of Meow Meow reading this, I feel happy for you.

With Meow Meow, I felt loved and taken care of. I felt appreciated. I felt encouraged and motivated. She brought a very different element into my life. I can't describe in words what that is, but I felt much more natural and much more myself after I met her.

To Meow Meow... Thanks for everything!

How we got started...

To many of our common friends, you might be surprised that we are even talking to each other... Hahaha... So here goes, let me tell you the story of how we got started...

We knew each other way back in 2005 when we both started the MBA program with NUS Business School. That time, we are just acquaintances. Nothing more than the usual "Hi" and "Bye" type of conversations. We did had a handful of modules when we were in the same project team, but we were just... well, nothing more than team mates.

On one eventful night, some time back in Sep-07, Kobi saw Meow Meow online and decided to say "Hi". Meow Meow being the friendliest girl that she is, started talking. Just to let all know what's the common topic that brought us together... It's LASIK. Interesting right?

We started communicating more and more, and we found many common topics and many commonalities in our characters, likings and interests. We met up for lunches, we see each other during friend gatherings and outings, we went Phuket on a group trip, we went to the gym together, we played games at MindCafe, we went shopping a little...

Things work out well for us as we get to know each other better and better. Guess we found in each other what we are looking for in a partner... So this is how we got started... Sounds interesting? MSN+LASIK... Hahaha... =)
